Jerry Pavia and Tim Cady have over 35 years of combined photography and teaching experience.  They have illustrated numerous magazine articles, books, postcards, calendars, and have worked on a number of assignments for publishers. Jerry has 14
books to his credit and Tim has recently finished working on his second book.

They will guide and instruct photographers from beginners to intermediates on outdoor excursions.  Photographers will be taken to some of the most beautiful and largely undiscovered locations in the Selkirk and Cabinet Mountains known only by locals, and to a national wildlife refuge abundant with flora and fauna. Students will experience magnificent waterfalls, towering old growth forests, vibrant wildflowers, and with any luck, regional wildlife.

The class is designed to broaden, not only your understanding, but your skill level in the photographic process of capturing beautiful images.  They will cover such topics as choosing the right equipment, understanding metering and obtaining the correct exposure, choosing the right lens for the right composition, making use of natural light, determining depth of field, and  most importantly,  SEEING.

Tim and Jerry’s light-heartedness and senses of humor make the learning process enjoyable, and the tacit understanding of generating new friendships unavoidable. By the end of the workshop you should have discs full of exciting new images, and a soul full of happy memories.

This workshop is perfect for those who want to have fun learning the skills that will fulfill their dreams of turning their images into stunning, wall-hanging art.

Cost:$495 (Payment schedule upon request) There is a  maximum of 16 students per class. Cost is for 4 day tuition, field trips, and some food.  Students are responsible for lodging and travel to the workshop. Tim and Jerry will get you to the locations. For more information call:
